Genelec shortlisted for three 2025 AV Awards
We’re delighted to be – once again – in contention for the Awards’ coveted Manufacturer of the Year accolade, which we’ve won previously at the 2021 AV Awards. In addition, two exceptional Genelec-equipped installations are in the running for honours: ‘Eidra Consultancy Headquarters’ for Corporate Project of the Year and ‘Marvel: The Exhibition – Universe of Superheroes’ for Themed Entertainment and Attractions Project of the Year.
Assessed by the AV Magazine’s panel of experts, the winner of Manufacturer of the Year is selected based on achievements in a range of areas, including technical innovation, customer satisfaction, employee training, diversity and equality, workplace culture and sustainability. We’re always especially happy to gain recognition for our approach to sustainability. Since our founding in 1978, we’ve kept our focus on sustainable manufacturing, producing long-lasting, repairable loudspeaker systems, while promoting the well-being of our team.
Both using our premium-sound-quality, easy-to-install Smart IP PoE loudspeaker systems, this year’s nominated Genelec projects are gold-standard examples of how the experience can truly be elevated with sound. Eidra’s office installation in Stockholm – designed and delivered by Genelec partner Ximple AB – boosts morale and productivity while enhancing on-site branding. While Marvel’s exhibition installation in Cologne – with audio made in collaboration between Sebastian M. Purfürst of Berlin-based LEM Studios and Acoustic Scenographer Markus ‘Hossi’ Hossack – immerses visitors fully in the vibrant history of the famous Marvel comic book and film universe.
Since launching in 1999, the AV Awards have led the way in highlighting the outstanding achievements of exceptional individuals, companies, projects and technology across the AV, events and production sectors. Hosting over 1400 industry professionals, the AV Awards remain independent, thorough and transparent, with annual auditing of the categories and judging process by a carefully curated steering committee.
The AV Awards ceremony will be taking place at Evolution London on the 7th of November.
